Modern Warfare: Remastered Footage Revealed at E3

Fans aren’t exactly clambering for this year’s upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, but they are rabidly excited about the remaster of the original Modern Warfare.  Good news for everyone waiting … we’re going to get to see some gameplay tomorrow.

That’s right, on June 13th at 6pm PT/9pm ET, PlayStation will be showcasing footage from Infinite Warfare and the Modern Warfare remaster.

Here’s the press release info:

“Activision will unveil brand-new gameplay from Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered … Redefining the franchise with a new setting and immersive storytelling, Infinite Warfare takes players on an epic journey through a classic, large-scale war that extends beyond the reaches of Earth for the first time in the series. The game also will be on display on the show floor in the PlayStation booth #4522.”

Infinite Warfare is so dreaded by fans that there is even a petition to get them to sell the Modern Warfare remaster separately (at the moment, you can only buy them as a bundle).  Will Call of Duty’s bad press continue?  We’ll just have to see what happens tomorrow.  Tune into the Sony segment here at 6pm PT/9pm ET to watch and see what happens live.  If you miss it, be sure to check back here for the latest news!
