Pokemon Go Is Now Available for the Apple Watch

Niantic has once again offered some holiday cheer. Pokemon Go has officially been unveiled for the Apple watch. It can now be downloaded immediately from the Apple App Store to the Apple watch despite people thinking the idea was tossed out.

They announced some of its most key features and offerings on their blog. Watch users will receive notification when Pokemon and pokestops are nearby and will also be able to log the play session as a workout. The Apple Watch app will also be able to log distance towards hatching Pokemon.

Although players can collect items from pokestops it will not allow players to catch Pokemon or battle in gyms. Apple watch users will still need to use their iPhone version of Pokemon or a Pokemon Go Plus device to interact with the Pokemon. This is just one of the many great holiday events Niantic has been offering users.
