If you ever wished there were a way you could use your PS4 controller with your PC games instead of relying on a mouse, it is finally possible. Steam now allows you to play PC games from your couch using your console controller.
Even though Steam messes up now and again, they do generally have a good reputation for catering toward players’ needs, and it is because of moves like this that they have earned that reputation.
Steam’s native support allows it to communicate directly with the controller through the Steam API.
If you do not own a PS4 but still want to use your console controller with your PC, don’t fret—Jeff Bellinghausen of Valve has confirmed that Steam plans to add support for other console controllers soon.
