Top 5 Shocking Video Game Announcements for E3 2016

With E3 kicking off today, we are expecting a lot of announcements to drop for upcoming games. Some developers (like Square Enix) have posted their full schedules. Others (like Sony) have left things totally up in the air for their panels. With rumors flying, here are 5 games that could be announced over the next few days that would make gamers’ minds explode.

5. Dead Rising 4

Dead Rising traces its history back to the first title in the franchise which was released in 2006. This open world horror game garnered critical acclaim by offering many pathways to completion, varied endings, and numerous weapons to choose from. Eventually we got two great sequels—the most recent of which was Dead Rising 3, released in 2013 as an Xbox exclusive.

Dead Rising 4 rumors have been flying pretty much ever since. Could the next game be another sequel? Could it be an HD remake of the original? After reports were released of a leaked poster, the hype blazed out of control. Maybe Dead Rising 4 will be announced at E3 this year. We’ll just have to wait and see!

4. Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption is one of the most successful games ever created by Rockstar, and one of the most lauded among critics and gamers alike. Ever since its release in 2010, gamers have been begging for a sequel. This year there have finally been some hints that Red Dead Redemption 2 may be in development by Rockstar San Diego.

Rockstar has yet to make any official announcements, but E3 would be the perfect time to do it. If Red Dead Redemption 2 is announced, we’ll be the first ones to let you know. Stay tuned!
