3 Crash Bandicoot games have been confirmed for PS4

Many gamers predicted that Sony might announce a brand new Crash Bandicoot game at E3 this year. As it turns out, Crash Bandicoot is making an even bigger comeback than that.

Crash Bandicoot will appear in Skylanders Imaginators, which will release on all major platforms on October 16th, 2016. Activision will then follow this up with remasters of the first three games in the Crash Bandicoot series.

Here is what Eric Hirshberg, Activision’s CEO had to say:

“For years, we’ve been asked when is Crash returning, and today that question has been answered. Activision is proud to celebrate the iconic character’s 20-year anniversary by bringing him back in ways that will appeal to hardcore fans as well as introduce him to a new generation of gamers …We can’t wait for gamers to see Crash bring his unique style and quirky personality to the epic battle against Kaos in Skylanders Imaginators. And next year, we’ll expand on the Crash experience for players with remastered versions of three classic games.”

That’s all the information we have right now. Check back in the future for more updates on the remasters including specific release dates.
